This Maravia Willi was brought to Goodwater Boat works with a tear in the tube that took water in when the damage occurred on the river.  Before we would get started repairing the boat, we needed to make sure all of the moisture was removed from the inside of the boat.

At Goodwater, we are factory trained repair technicians and know the specifics of how to work on every type and style of boat on the market.  The repair of this Maravia floor starts with marking the location where the patch where placed on the floor.

This tear was about 8 inches long and to fix it right, requires the specialized tools and knowledge Goodwater has to get the job done right.

Goodwater Boat Works repaired this tear and made the boat as good as new.  As usual, we covered the patch with a urethane coating to not only add another layer of protection to the boat, but to protect the patch from future damage.

Before applying the urethane, the area needs to be taped out to define the area that is to be covered.  Once a good boundary is established, the urethane is applied and allowed to dry.
